Salvation Army fundraiser seeks donations of funds and items

Lords Valley. The Salvation Army will collect new and lightly used items, with some exclusions, until Oct. 8 for their fundraiser.

The Salvation Army Pike County Service Extension Unit seeks funds and new and “gently used” items for their fall fundraiser on Oct. 8-9 at St. John Neumann Hall, 705 Route 739, Lords Valley.

The Salvation Army in Pike County helps with heating assistance, food assistance, clothing assistance, emergency assistance, disaster services, adult rehabilitation services, and camperships in Camp LaDore.

They will collect new and used items until October 8, excluding furniture, books, electronics, stuffed toys and food.
