Daniel Drake named executive chef
LAKEVILLE Caesars Pocono Resorts announced today the promotion of Dan Drake to executive chef at Cove Haven Resort. In his new position, Drake will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of all food served in the resort’s restaurants and for the Breakfast in Bed amenity. He will directly supervise the kitchen culinary team, and his many responsibilities will include the hiring, training, development and scheduling of employees. Drake has been with Caesars Pocono Resorts since 2003, most recently serving as sous chef. Drake previously worked in the Sports Palace at Cove Haven Resort. Prior to joining the company, Drake was the kitchen manager at Ehrhardts Waterfront Resort. Drake attended Wallenpaupack Area High School and graduated from Northampton Community College with an Associates Degree in Culinary Arts.
