Dean's List announced at Lafayette College

    EASTON - Two Pike County students names were among 864 Lafayette College students who have been named to the 2005 fall semester Dean’s List, as recently announced by Rose Marie Bukics, acting dean of studies. Each of the students has achieved at least a 3.45 semester grade point average out of a possible 4.0. Pike students included Rachel Ann Jacobs, Class of 2006 , of Milford and Steven Thomas Roe, Class of 2008, of Lackawaxen. Lafayette is one of only 65 colleges and universities in the nation classified as “most academically competitive” by Barron’s, publishers of Profiles of American Colleges and Guide to the Most Competitive Colleges. It is a most selective, independent, coeducational, residential, undergraduate institution granting bachelor’s degrees in the liberal arts, sciences, and engineering. There are about 2,300 students and 188 full-time faculty, all of whom hold the doctorate or other terminal degree in their field.
