Kaplan University announces winter 2009 online graduates CHICAGO, ILL. — Kaplan University celebrated the graduation of its winter 2009 class during a live ceremony on Jan. 31 in Miami. Five-time Grammy Award-winning recording artist John Legend served as the commencement speaker. Donna Collins of Milford, was awarded a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice. The Kaplan University winter class of approximately 2,500 students earned their associate’s, bachelor’s and master’s degrees completely online. Almost 500 of them traveled from around the country and the world to attend the ceremony, meeting face-to-face for the first time. American University dean’s list WASHINGTON — Margaret Palermo of Milford has been named to the Dean’s List at American University in Washington D.C., for the fall semester. SUNY Orange dean’s list MIDDLETOWN, N.Y. — SUNY Orange’s dean’s list for the 2008 Fall semester includes 722 students, including Deanna M. Moriarty of Dingmans Ferry, Kellie R. Tomaszewski of Hawley; Keri Klemm of Matmoras; and Cassandra M. Mercado; LeeAnn Nolan; Erin M. Seasholtz; Nicole J.Woinicki, all of Milford. Widener University announces dean’s list CHESTER — Jesse Jayne of Milford, was named to the dean’s list for the fall 2008 semester at Widener University in Chester, Pa. York College of Pennsylvania dean’s list YORK — Kraig Van Duzer of Milford, a junior business administration major at York College of Pennsylvania, has been named to the dean’s list for the fall 2008 semester.
