    Berkeley College recognizes Pike students — Berkeley College has announced that students from Pike County, have been named to the President’s and Dean’s Lists at Berkeley College for the Winter 2009 Quarter. Karen Chambers of Bushkill, was named to the Berkeley College Online President’s List and Tamara Wachtel of Milford, made the Berkeley College Online Dean’s List. Berkeley College students who achieve a grade point average of 4 0 with a minimum of 12 academic credits qualify for the President’s List. Students who achieve a 3.50 or better with a minimum of 12 academic credits qualify for the Dean’s List. The University of Scranton — conferred 642 master’s degrees and 35 doctoral degrees at its post-baccalaureate commencement ceremony in the Byron Recreation Complex on campus on May 30, 2009. Pike County Master’s Degree recipients included: Bridget M. Dellert, of Shohola, Marjorie J. Huhn of Dingmans Ferry, Jenna L. Osborn of Milford and Tammi L. Perosi, Milford. Spring Dean’s List at Lebanon Valley College — The following students were named to the spring dean’s list at Lebanon Valley College: Amanda J. DeVilliers of Dingmans Ferry, a sophomore in psychology; Jacquelyn A. Massey of Milford, a senior in music business; and Andrew J. Worley of Canadensis, a junior in music education and music. Dean’s list students must maintain a 3.4 average out of a possible 4.0. Delaware Valley College — Dr. Dorothy Prisco, vice president for academic affairs and dean of the faculty at Delaware Valley College, at Doylestown announced that Nicole Stauder of Milford, was among its May graduates. Drew University — Drew University student Cortney Rhyan Conrad of Lackawaxen received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Drew University in Madison, N.J., on Saturday, May 16, at the university’s 141st commencement. Conrad was also named to the Dean’s List for the Spring 2009 semester. In order to qualify for the Dean’s List, students must earn a grade point average of 3.4 or above, which is equivalent to a B+ or better. Lauren A. Lachocki of Dingmans Ferry — served an internship at Susquehanna University this Spring as a marketing assistant to the assistant director of residence life. She is a rising junior majoring in communications at Susquehanna. Lachocki’s responsibilities included assisting with advertising and marketing events, data analysis and university Web design. Throughout the course of the internship, she gained valuable experience working in a professional atmosphere. Lachocki is a 2007 graduate of Delaware Valley High School and the daughter of Stephen and Bonnie Lachocki. Deans list — Margaret Palermo of Milford was named to the Dean’s List for the spring semester of 2009 at American University in Washington DC. Meg is a freshman studying Musical Theater and Education. She is the daugter of Rosemary and Scott Palermo and is a 2008 graduate of Delaware Valley High School.
