KofC elect officers
MATAMORAS The Knights of Columbus Council #13935 of Milford-Matamoras, serving St. Patrick’s and St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic churches, has elected new officers for 2009-2010. Those officers are Grand Knight Ernie Sandonato, Deputy Grand Knight Patrick McCarthy, Chancellor Patrick Aschoff, and Warden Bernard Marasa. Other officers are Financial Secretary Dennis Mant, Treasurer Bill Griffin, Recorder Tom McAuliffe, and Guards Joe Klotz and Ray Proulx. The current Board of Trustees for the Council includes Tom Hogan, Bill Gaa, and Ignatius Sybrandy, and the Council’s Chaplain is Rev. Gerald Mullally, pastor of St. Patrick’s Church in Milford. Grand Knight Ernie Sandonato has been a member of the Knights of Columbus for four years, formerly serving in the positions of Recorder and Warden. He is an English teacher at Delaware Valley 11-12 High School, and resides in the Woodlands community of Dingman Township with his wife Diane and sons Jason and Adam.
