MILFORD — Following the arrival of the magnificent Schantz organ, the Good Shepherd Church set out to hire a new organist. The Vestry of the Good Shepherd Church was looking for a fine musician with enthusiasm for church music and music for the wiader community. They are pleased to announce such an organist has been found. Christropher Rocco Prestia is joining Good Shepherd on Sept. 2, as its first full time organist since the acquisition of the Schantz pipe organ. Christopher is a young talented musician who has been playing music since a very early age. He has been the organist of the Hamburg Baptist Church, N.J., since November of 2004. Good Shepherd’s parishioners welcomed Christopher a few weeks ago and gave him an ovation at the end of the Church service in recognition of the excellence of his performance. The church encourages visitors at the Good Shepherd Church and the website at www.goodshepherdmilford.org .
