Aleta M. Wyka of Dingmans Ferry, Pa., formerly of Elmwood Park, N.J., passed away at home on Nov. 1, 2020. She was 72.
Daughter of the late Stanley and Algerina (Nunes) Wyka, she was born on Aug. 28, 1948, in Passaic, N.J.
She worked as a hairdresser in Passaic for over 45 years.
Aleta loved all animals, especially dogs and the volunteers that rescue them. She leaves behind her adored pet Mcgee and his cousin Sullivan.
Aleta leaves behind her sister, Valerie Wyka of Dingmans Ferry; brother John Wyka of Milford, Pa.; brother Thomas Wyka, who passed away on Jan. 7, 2021; and nephews, Thomas Lee Wyka of Portland, Oregon, and Kevin Thomas Wyka and his wife-to-be, Linda Simon, of Bloomingburg, N.Y.
Cremation was private at convenience of the family at MacLennan Hall Crematorium, Milford Township.
