Amy M. Mark
Amy M. Mark of Dingmans Ferry, Pa., died on Friday, July 15, 2016, at Newton Memorial Hospital in Newton, N.J. She was 78.
Daughter of the late Ernest F. and Mary (Swap) Bond, she was born May 25, 1938, in Paterson, N.J. She grew up in Midland Park, N.J., with four siblings.
She was married to the late Charles K. Mark.
She was a retired bank teller and bookkeeper for numerous banks and businesses in northern New Jersey. She graduated from Pompton Lakes High School, N.J., Class of 1956.
She was of the Protestant faith and for many years a member of the Ramsey, N.J., Fire Department Women’s Auxiliary.
Survivors include her niece, Marilee H. Ostman of West Virginia; nephew, Bruce L. Kirkpatrick, with whom she resided in Dingmans Ferry, and additional nieces, nephews, grand-nephews and their families; and many friends, in particular, Clarissa Rivas, her loving caregiver.
She was predeceased by three brothers, Ernest, John, and George Bond; her only sister, Isabelle Hoebee; and her niece, Joanne Kirkpatrick, who died in December 2015.
Graveside services will be held at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus, N.J., at 1:30 p.m. on Aug. 6, with the Rev. David Felker officiating.
