Charles H. Sohl Jr. of Greeley, Pa., passed away on Friday, June 5, 2020, at The Jewish Home of Eastern Pennsylvania, Scranton, Pa. He was84.
Son of the late Charles and Catherine (Pero) Sohl, he was born on Sept. 28, 1935, in Brooklyn, N.Y.
He was a U.S. Army Veteran, having served from 1958 to 1962.
Charlie leaves behind his wife, Judith (Hoey) Sohl of Greeley; sons, Stephen Sohl of Greeley and John Sohl of Brookline, Vt.; daughter, Kathleen Marcus of Greeley; brothers, John Sohl of Deerpark, N.Y., and James Sohl of Winter Springs, Fla.; and six grandchildren.
Charlie was preceded in death by his sister, June Perusse, in 2019.
Services were private at convenience to the family. Burial was at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, Pa.
