Crane E. VanDermark Jr.
Crane E. VanDermark Jr., a lifetime resident of Matamoras, Pa., died on Tuesday, Aug. 18, 2015, at home. He was 71.
Son of the late Crane E. and Susie (Conklin) VanDermark Sr., he was born on Sept. 25, 1943, in Matamoras.
He was the owner-operator of Crane’s Car Center for 25 years and an outdoor sales representative for Frank’s NAPA for 17 years prior to his retirement in 2013.
Survivors include his wife, Karen Bodnariuk; sons, Crane E. VanDermark III of Lake Mohawk, N.J., and Bruce VanDermark of Marshalls Creek, Pa.; stepsons, Kim Byron of Matamoras and Everett McKean of Shohola, Pa.; two brothers, Lorne VanDermark of Florida and Ronnie VanDermark of Delran, N.J.; sisters, Betty Hallock of California and Linda Henderson of Greeley, Pa.; and ten grandchildren.
He is predeceased by one brother, Larry VanDermark.
Burial took place at Pine Grove Cemetery, Matamoras, on Aug. 22. Arrangements were by Stroyan Funeral Home in Milford, Pa.
