Daniel J. Osborne Sr.

Daniel J. Osborne Sr. of Milford, Pa., a lifelong area resident, died on Sunday, Oct. 22, 2017, at the Orange Regional Medical Center in the Town of Wallkill, N.Y. He was 64.
Son of the late William Herbert and Kathryn Osborne, he was born on July 11, 1953, in Middletown, N.Y.
He retired as a skilled laborer from the City of Middletown Department of Public Works. He was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in Middletown. He was a former member of the Waalkill Engine Co. #6 in Middletown, and a member of the Howells Fire Company where he served as a driver. He belonged to the Morton Hill Hunting Club in Roscoe and the Howells Game Club in Howells. He was treasurer of the CSEA Local No. 836 of Middletown and was an avid golfer and former avid Bowler at Middletown Lanes.
Survivors include his wife, MaryAnn Osborne, at home in Milford; sons, Daniel J. Osborne Jr. and his companion, Tammy Schultz, of Mt. Hope, and Michael E. Osborne and his wife, Andrea, of Mt. Hope; grandchildren, Daniel G., Sean, Connor, Johnny and Kailee Osborne; brothers and sisters, Pat Osborne and his wife, Mary, of Middletown, James Osborne and his wife, Marie, of Milford, Kathy Osborne and Vicky Sexton of Tallahassee, Fla., Larry Osborne and his wife, Claudia, of Deltona, Fla., Ann Walters and Terry Long of Crystal River, Fla., Sue Sanchez of Middletown, Chris Osborne of Davie, Fla., Eileen Osborne of Middletown, Elizabeth Torres of Middletown, and Mark Osborne and his wife, Julie of Middletown; numerous nieces and nephews; sisters-in-law, Debbie and husband, Ron, and Phyllis and husband, David; and his beloved beagle Speckles.
Visitation was held Oct. 26 at the Cornelius, Dodd & Connell Funeral Home, Middletown. The Howells Fire Company conducted services. Cremation was at the Cedar Hill Crematory, Newburgh, N.Y.
