David L. Storms of Shohola, a lifetime area resident, died Wednesday, July 8, 2015, at Mt. Sinai Hospital, New York, N.Y. He was 45.

Son of William Storms and Diane Price Storms, he was born Dec. 20, 1969, in Port Jervis.

He married Linda Sebesta on Aug. 11, 2001, in Port Jervis.

He worked as a Compounder for Kolmar Labs in Port Jervis and as a mason with his father at William Storms and Sons.

A family statement read: "David was a loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle, nephew and cousin. He was a good cook. He loved to go hunting and fishing with his father, son and brothers. He enjoyed riding his Harley with his brothers.

Survivors include his wife, Linda Storms, at home; son, David Storms Jr. and his companion, Christie, of Barryville, N.Y.; daughters, Elizabeth, Sarah, and Emily Storms, at home; parents, William and Diane Storms of Port Jervis; brothers, William Storms and his wife, Kelly, of Huguenot, N.Y., Stephen Storms and his wife, Jamie, of Sparrowbush, and Joseph Storms and his wife, Nicole, of Port Jervis; sister, Rachel Storms of Port Jervis; his best buddy and nephew, Ian Thompson of Port Jervis; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Visitation was scheduled for 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, July 15, at the Gray-Parker Funeral Home, 100 East Main St., Port Jervis. Funeral services were set for 1 p.m. on Wednesday, July 15, at the funeral home, with the Rev. Joe Iannone officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Hill Cemetery, Sparrowbush, N.Y.
