Diann E. Becker

Diann E. Becker of Shohola died on Friday, Sept. 18, 2015, in her home surrounded by friends and family. She was 56.

Daughter of Roy E. Bateman and Berniece E. (Ayers) Funk, she was born on July 18, 1959, in Williamsport, Pa. She was married to William S. Becker; they celebrated their 34th wedding anniversary on Sept. 5, 2015.

She was a member of the Milford United Methodist Church, Milford Valley Quilters Guild, and Walker Lake Ladies Club. She was well-known for her beautiful quilts.

Survivors include her husband, William; two brothers, Kevin R. Bateman of Clearfield, Utah, and Roy Bateman Jr. of Harrisburg; mother, Berniece (Ayers) Funk of Bellefonte, Pa.; father, Roy E. Bateman of Cogan Station, Pa.; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 17, at Milford United Methodist Church, 206 East Ann St., Milford, with the Rev. Luana Cook Scott officiating.
