Dolores 'Bunny' Weslowski

Dolores “Bunny” Weslowski of New Hampton, N.Y., a retired nurse’s aide from Orange County Home & Infirmary, entered into rest on Saturday, March 12, 2016, surrounded by her family. She was 85.

The daughter of Roy and Emma Matthews, she was born on June 4, 1930, in Tuxedo, N.Y.

She is survived by her daughters: Donna Schreibeis of Florida; Barbara Hudler of Milford, Pa.; and Bonnie Briskie of Warwick, N.Y.; her sons: Stephen Weslowski of Middletown, N..; and Raymond Weslowski ] and his wife, Sue, of Ohio; sister Mildred Sarnecky of Monroe; brother Richard Matthews and his wife, Mary, of Monroe, N.Y.; Aunt Edith Stevens; Uncle Robert Jones; 12 grandchildren: Kelly, Frank "Bankie,” Amanda, Laurie, Lee Ann, Lindsey, Jo-Jo, Ryan, Kristy, Nathaniel, Nicholas and Ashley; great grandchildren: Felicia, Luis, Courtney, Kayla, Adam, Morgan, Stephanie, Emmry, Brandon, Andrew, Sarah, Kaelyn, Zoey, Reid and Nora; great-great grandchildren: Zach, Aliana, Austin, Damien and Isaac; and numerous nieces, nephews and dear friend Lorraine Janiak.

She was predeceased by her brothers, Freeland and James Matthews, son-in-law Frank Schreibeis, brother-in-law Bucky Sarnecky and grandson Kyle Weslowski.

Cremation will be held privately and burial will be held at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
