Dorothy Gillen Ressmeyer

Dorothy Gillen Ressmeyer, a lifelong area resident, died on Saturday, May 14, 2016, at Belle Reve in Milford, Pa. She was 97.
Daughter of the late Arthur and Florence Rhineheart Gillen, she was born on Jan. 18, 1919, in Fair Oaks, N.Y.
She was married to Frank G. Ressmeyer, who predeceased her on June 29, 1996. She had formerly attended the Circleville Church.
Survivors include her two nephews, Clinton H. Gillen and his wife, Jill, of Wolf Lake and Gene A. Gillen and his wife, Patricia, of Milford; two great-nieces and two great nephews; three great-great nieces and five great-great nephews; and her close friends Edward and Emily Murray of Middletown.
She was predeceased by her brother Norman Gillen and his wife, Angie, and brother Clinton Gillen and his wife, Pearl.
Visitation was held at the Cornelius, Dodd and Connell Funeral Home in Middletown on May 19, followed by graveside services at the Circleville Cemetery, Circleville, N.Y. The Rev. Stephen P. Ruelke officiated.
