Elfriede L. Conklin

Elfriede L. Conklin of Milford, formerly of Port Jervis, died on Thursday, Aug. 13, 2015, at Milford Senior Care and Rehabilation Center in Milford,. She was 88.

Daughter of the late Karl and Hedwig Louise Kurass Dreizler, she was born on Nov. 10, 1926, in Stuttgart, Germany. She worked as a Home Health Aid and as a seamstress for Andmore Sportswear in Port Jervis. She was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Port Jervis.

She married Clifford Conklin, who pre-deceased her.

Survivors include her son, Daniel Conklin and his wife, Victoria Rosario Conklin, of Milford; sister, Laura Brehel of Germany; brother, Fritz Dreizler of Germany; grandson, Christopher Conklin of Milford; and granddaughter, Kelsey Conklin.

Services and interment will take place privately at the convenience of the family.

Arrangements are by the Knight-Auchmoody Funeral Home, Port Jervis.
