Grace Dorothy Reilly of Milford, Pa., and formerly of Staten Island, N.Y., passed away Saturday, Aug. 10, 2019, at home. She was 79.
Daughter of the late Salvatore and Marie (Seno) Choida, she was born Dec. 31, 1939, in Staten Island. She was married to the late Leo F. Reilly.
She was a retired office worker for Seaview Nursing Home, Staten Island.
Grace leaves behind her daughter, Laura Simmonetti; son, Joseph Simmonetti; grandchildren, Michael and Gianna Castellano; stepsons, Joey Reilly and his wife, Lee Ann, Leo Reilly and his wife, Debbie; five step-grandchildren, Samantha, Alyssa, Wyatt, Brice and Melodianne; brother-in-law John Tichenor; several close family friends and cousins; and many nieces and nephews and grand-nieces and -nephews.
She was predeceased by three sisters, Rosemary D’Ambra, Evelyn Chestnut, and Barbara Tichenor; and stepdaughter Grace Korondi, who died in 1995.
Visitation was held at Stroyan Funeral Home in Milford on Aug. 15. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Patrick’s Church in Milford on Aug. 16 with the Rev. John Boyle officiating. Cremation was private and at the convenience of the family.
