Hedwig Klara Weiss

Hedwig Klara Weiss of Shohola, Pa., died on Wednesday, Jan. 13, 2016, at Milford Senior Care and Rehabilitation Center. She was 88.

Daughter of the late Theodore and Maria Berberich Dietrich, she was born Aug. 21, 1927, in Kaiserslautern, Germany.

She married Helmut “Andy” Weiss on June 25, 1973, in Suffern, N.Y.

She worked as a waitress for Longchamp’s in New York, N.Y.

Survivors include her husband, Helmut Weiss, at home; sister, Agnes Dietrich Germany; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a son, Mark Donohue.

Visitation was held at the Gray-Parker Funeral Home in Port Jervis, N.Y., on Jan. 18. Funeral services were held Jan. 18 at the funeral home. Following cremation, the entombment of cremains was in Middle Village, Queens, N.Y.
