Helen M. Steiner

Helen M. Steiner, 92, a longtime resident of Ringwood, N.J. until she retired to Broadheadsville, Pa. died peacefully on Friday, March 6, 2015 at Llanfair House, Wayne, N.J.

She was a Licensed Practical Nurse for more than 40 years working in Hospitals and Nursing Homes in Northern New Jersey. Helen was a graduate of Bloomfield High School and Bergen Pines Nursing School. The daughter of the late George and Helen (Condon) Penhale, she was born on Dec. 6, 1922.

​Survivors include her son Joseph Steiner of Milford, Pa.; her daughter Barbara McGuire of Las Vegas, Nev.; many nieces and nephews; six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. She was predeceased by son James Steiner; sister Gail Penhale; brother Edward Penhale and husband Edward Steiner of 56 years.

A funeral service was held at Stroyan Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 10 with Rev. Paul Mullen officiating.
