Jason Conrad Van der Toorn, 60, of Milford, Pennsylvania unexpectedly passed away at home on Thursday, September 22, 2022. He was a loving brother, father, and grandfather.
The son of the late Eugene and Sarah (Ryans) Van der Toorn, he was born on September 27, 1961, in East Orange, New Jersey. He was married to Dana A. (Jaretsky) Van der Toorn who preceded him in death on May 1, 2018.
Jason leaves behind his daughter, Janie Egan, and her husband Sean; son, Eric Van der Toorn and his wife Jamie; grandchildren, Tanner and Charlotte; brother, Eugene Van der Toorn, and his wife Betty and nieces and nephews.
A Receiving of Friends will be on Friday, September 30, 2022, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Stroyan Funeral Home, 405 West Harford Street, Milford, Pennsylvania 18337.
Final interment will be held 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, October 1, 2022, at the Milford Cemetery, Milford, Pennsylvania.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, JDRF, 200 Vesey Street, 28th Floor, New York, NY 10281 in honor of Jason’s life.
