John Filone, former owner of Mount Haven Country Resort, dies at age 75

John Filone of Milford, Pa., former owner of the Mount Haven Country Resort, died on Friday, Aug. 24, 2018. He was 75.
He was the beloved husband of Lorraine Filone; loving father of Jeffrey Filone and his wife, Ro, and Anthony Filone and his wife, Stacey; cherished grandfather of Darcy, Anthony, and Tanner Filone; and dear brother of Andrew Filone and the late Anthony and Theresa.
He was also survived by many loving relatives and friends.
Funeral arrangements were made by Oyster Bay Funeral Home, Oyster Bay, N.Y. A memorial service was to be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to NYU Winthrop Hospital, Office of Development, 200 Old Country Road, Suite 570, Mineola, NY 11501 (nyuwinthrop.org/give).
