Jose O. Jara of Milford died on Monday, Feb. 9, 2015, at home. She was 72.
Son of Domingo and Lydia (Gomez) Jara, he was born on Feb. 25, 1941, in Santiago, Chile.
He was a retired bus driver for the Chilian government.
Survivors include four sons, Miguel, William, Wilson, and Gilmar; five brothers, Segundo Antonio Jara, Ramon Jara, Luis Jara, Sebastian Del Carmen Jara, and Juan Dejesus Jara; two sisters, Maria Carmen Jara and Rosa Jara; and six grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his wife, Margaretta Jara, in 2004.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Patrick’s Church, Milford, on Feb. 14 with the Rev. Gregory Kelley officiating. Burial took place in Milford Cemetery, Dingman Township.
