Joseph Henry DeRose
Joseph Henry DeRose, 88, of Milford, passed away July 11, 2016, in Belle Reve Senior Living Community, Milford.
Joseph was a retired building supervisor for George B. Buck Consultants, New York, N.Y., owner of the Crystal Spring House, Shohola, and owner and operator of DeRose Contracting, Shohola. He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving from 1946 to 1947.
The son of the late Francis and Loretta (Thruelsen) DeRose, he was born February 7, 1928 in Brooklyn. He was married to Laura Ann (Canessa) DeRose on February 1, 1948, in Brooklyn.
Survivors include his wife; children Rosemarie Richter of Milford, Patricia Feinberg of Media, Joseph DeRose, Jr., of Milford, Annette Martin of Milford, Donna Glynn of Narrowsburg, N.Y., LauraJean Innella of Shohola, Louann Jarrell of Jacksonville, Fla., and Susan Hilton of Norfolk, Va.; brother Michael DeRose; two sisters, Mary Dolan and Loretta Ansbro, both of Brooklyn; 20 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by two brothers, John and George DeRose.
Burial took place in Milford Cemetery, Dingman Township.
