Mr. Joseph John Witek of Milford died Monday, July 24, 2023, at Westchester Medical Center. He was 75.
He was born Oct. 20, 1947, in Newark, N.J., the son of Joseph Anthony Witek and Olga Witek.
Joseph retired as a member of the Union Teamster Local 560 at RedStar Express Lines in Newark, N.J.
His family’s statement reads: “Joseph was a great guy. You could always find him playing the accordion at all the back yard parties. He was always a lot of fun and would never turn down a good drink.”
Surviving are his sons Joseph Witek and Corey Witek, granddaughter Jenna Witek and best friend Ernie Soehl.
There will be no visitation.
Cremation will be held at MacLennan Hall Crematorium in Milford.
Funeral arrangements are by the Gray-Parker Funeral Home, 100 E. Main St., Port Jervis.
