Julia J. Fenkner of Milford, Pa., formerly of Bellmawr, N.J. (for over 63 years), died peacefully at home after a long illness. She was 94.
She was the daughter of the late John Zaborowski and Stephania Klacenski of Philadelphia.
She was married to the late Elwood C. Fenkner.
She was a member of the Bellmawr Seniors for more than 20 years. She also resided in the Bellmawr Senior Housing for eight years until her illness, causing her to live with her daughter and son-in-law for the last two and a half years of her life.
A family statement read: “Julia was full of life even throughout her sickness she had a great sense of humor. She was always happy and treated everybody as if they were her friend. She enjoyed living in the Dingmans the Poconos, where her favorite pastime was watching her beloved wildlife including white tail deer, mourning doves, Blue jays, cardinals, red breasted robins and Her favorite a Red capped -woodpecker. She will be greatly missed."
Survivors include her daughter, Jeanette, and her husband, Bob Decker, of Milford; son, Nick Fenkner, and his wife, Eleanor, of Glenside, Pa.; grandchildren, Todd and Dean Rose, Mark Fenkner and Michelle Cook, along with their spouses Marie Rose, Liane Martin; and great-grandchildren, Nicholas and Carmen Cook, Ethan and Bryanna Rose, Meghan, Brooke and Zachary Rose, and Evangeline Martin.
A Memorial Service will be held at Long Meadow Chapel, 429 Long Meadow Chapel, Milford, Pa., on Sunday, April 2, at 3 p.m.
