    Katherine Amelia Carver of Port Jervis, a long-time area resident, died Saturday, Sept. 12, 2015, at Milford Senior Care & Rehabilitation Center in Milford.

    Daughter of the late Alexander and the late Ethel Hickman MacLean, she was born July 2, 1929, in Boston.

    She was married for 63 years to Loring Edmund Carver, who died on April 6, 2013.

    She worked as an administrator for Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Middletown. She was a volunteer at Bon Secours Community Hospital and a member of the Milford Garden Club.

    Survivors include two sons, Loring Carver Jr. of Greeley and Daniel Carver and his wife, Donna, of Port Jervis; daughter, Mary Mauerer and her husband, Larry, of Farmingdale, N.Y.; two brothers, George MacLean and his wife, Anne Hingman, Mass., and Stewart MacLean of the State of Florida; nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Ronald Carver and his wife, Marion Duluth, Minn.; sister-in-law, Mary Laws of Seattle, Wash.

    She was predeceased by a daughter, Karen E. Carver; son, John A. Carver; sister, Marion Warnock; brother, Donald MacLean; and sister-in-law, Louann O’Connor.

    Visitation was held at the Gray-Parker Funeral Home in Port Jervis on Sept. 20, with Pastor Ann Rost officiating.

    Cremation followed at the MacLennan Hall Crematorium, Milford. Burial of cremains will be made in Long Island National Cemetery, Farmingdale, N.Y.
