Kenneth W. Susanowicz

Kenneth W. Susanowicz of Shohola, Pa., passed away, Monday, Jan. 25, 2021, at home surrounded by his family. He was 68.

Son of the late William and Dorothy (King) Susanowicz he was born November 9, 1952 in Brooklyn, N.Y. He married Carolyn (Durk) Susanowicz on June 21, 1975.

He was a retired revenue collector for New York City Transit. Ken was a member of the Milford United Methodist Church, Milford, Pa., Marsch-Kellogg American Legion Post #139, Milford, Pa., USS Independence CV-62 Association and a U.S. Navy Veteran serving from 1971 to 1974.

Survivors include his wife, Carolyn; daughter, Holly Covart, and her husband, Jerome, and their children, Riley and Emily; son, Kenneth W. Susanowicz Jr. and his wife, Julissa; sisters Mary Carrano, Flo Lazarowitz and her husband, Phil; brother, Robert Susanowicz; brother-in-law, Al Delucia; nephews, Victor and Chris Delucia; and cousin, Rodney King.

He was predeceased by his sister Dotsey Delucia.

Visitation was held at Stroyan Funeral Home in Milford on Jan. 28. Funeral services followed at the funeral home with the Rev. Kaleigh Tomich-Corbett officiating. Burial will take place in Calverton National Cemetery, Calverton, N.Y., on Friday, Jan. 29, at 1 p.m. with military honors.
