Lawrence Roy Moretz III

Lawrence Roy Moretz III of Milford died on Wednesday, Sept. 9, 2015, at home. He was 48.

Son of Lawrence Jr. and Nancy (Burke) Moretz, he was born April 24, 1967, in New York, N.Y. He was married to Joanne (Jessup) Moretz.

He was a financial director for Dun & Bradstreet in Short Hills, N.J., a Senior Soldier of the Salvation Army in Port Jervis, N.Y., and a Boy Scout Leader for Troop 3.

Survivors include his wife, Joanne; mother, Commissioner Nancy A. Moretz, of Lancaster, Pa.; son, Cadet Elisha Moretz of Suffern, N.Y.; daughter, Jennifer Lynn Moretz of Buenos Aires, Argentina; brother, Thomas Moretz of Bloomingdale, N.J.; and sister, Lieutenant Christine Moretz Baker of Youngstown, Ohio.

Visitation was held at Stroyan Funeral Home in Milford on Sept. 14. A funeral service was held at the Salvation Army in Port Jervis on Sept. 15. Burial was in Kensico Cemetery, Valhalla, N.Y.
