Leona Hoover White

Leona Hoover White died at Saint Joseph's nursing home in Port Jervis, N.Y., on Monday, June 26, 2017. She was 93.
She lived most of her life in Milford, Pa.
She was born to Ervin Hoover and Emma Jane Searfoss Hoover. She was retired from Selective Risk Insurance Company in Branchville, N.J.
Survivors include her son-in-law Joseph Witkowski of Port Jervis, N.Y.; granddaughter Donna Polanis and her husband, Jeff; great-granddaughters, Jessica and Kelsey Polanis, all of Milford; step-great-granddaughter Rachel and her husband, Bryan Copertin; great-great-grandchildren, all of Matamoras, Pa.; and many nieces and nephews.
She was pre-deceased by her daughter Nancy Witkowski, grandson Joseph Witkowski Jr.; four brothers and seven sisters.
A viewing was held at the Stroyan Funeral Home in Milford on July 3, followed by funeral services at the funeral home.
