Madge A. Dillon of Montague, N.J., died on Wednesday, Sept. 2, 2015, at Newton Hospital, Newton, N.J. She was 80.

She was a retired clerk for the US Postal Service, Hackensack, N.J. She grew up in East Paterson, N.J. and enjoyed traveling, the ocean and playing cards. She was an avid New York Giants and New York Mets fan and a New Jersey State Marbles Champion in Atlantic City, N.J., in 1947.

Daughter of Joseph and Dorothy (Hughart) Murphy, she was born on Oct. 20, 1934, in Jersey City, N.J.

Survivors include her three sons, Robert S. Dillon of Milford, Pa., Christopher T. Dillon of Branchburg, N.J., and Philip J. Dillon of Milford, Pa.; two sisters, Diane Nowak and her husband, Ken, of Florence, N.J., and Auntie Ann R. Benedict of Montague, N.J.; granddaughter, Paige Dillon of Maryland; three nieces, Tara, Erin, and Keri. She was predeceased by her brother, Joseph Murphy.

Cremation took place at the convenience of the family.

Arrangements were by Stroyan Funeral Home, Milford.
