Margaret McLaughlin Strucic

Margaret McLaughlin Strucic of Port Jervis died on Wednesday, July 29, 2015, at Cornell Medical Center, New York, N.Y. She was 55.

Daughter of William and Margaret Agrella McLaughlin Mills, she was born on June 22, 1960, in Brooklyn.

She worked as a licensed cosmetologist. She was a communicant of St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church in Port Jervis.

Survivors include her mother, Margaret Mills; step-father, James Mills of Port Jervis; sons, Matthew Strucic and his wife, Rachel, of North Carolina, and Kristopher Strucic of Long Island; daughter, Donna Strucic, and her fiancé, Israel Castro, of Long Island; three grandchildren, Evan, Brianna and Christian; three brothers, William McLaughlin and his wife, Laura, of Florida, N.Y., Christopher McLaughlin of Port Jervis, and Jason Mills and his wife, Andrea, of Milford; sister, Carol Nivens and her companion, Mark Rutt, of Port Jervis; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her father, William McLaughlin.

Visitation was held July 31 at the Knight-Auchmoody Funeral Home in Port Jervis. Prayers were offered at the funeral home. Cremation was private.
