    Marilyn C. McLaughlin Conklin, a longtime Milford resident, was peacefully laid to rest on Jan. 20, 2015, at Milford Senior Care in Westfall Township. She was 69.

    Daughter of the late Gordon and Mary (Schuchman) McLaughlin, she was born Sept. 4, 1945, in Brooklyn, N.Y.

    After the birth of her third child, she moved with her former husband, Charles Albanese, from Brooklyn to Milford to raise their family in the country.

    Marilyn was strong woman who loved her family, music, dancing, cooking, hunting, fishing, and cookies. She possessed a smile that was welcoming and comforting to all who were in her presence.

    She was a woman of many talents: cosmetologist/Instructor Beauty School of Middletown, a caring and loving Nursing Assistant at Belle Reeve and Milford Valley Nursing homes, and a top shelf waitress at the Hawks Nest Restaurant.

    Marilyn resided for the last seven years at the Milford Senior Care Nursing home. The family would like to express heartfelt thanks to the staff for the love, compassion and support that was provided by each and every one of them during her stay there.

    She is predeceased in death by her parents; her brother, William McLaughlin; and sister, Patricia Zielinski.

    Survivors include her five children and their partners, Denise and Ron Davis, Charlie Albanese, Joseph Albanese and Dawn Shamah, Marilyn Albanese and Chris Cohen, Anthony and Crystal Albanese; eight grandchildren, Tienamarie, Justine, Ronnie and Lance Davis, Mark and Megan Hawkins, Brooke Albanese, and Kyle Grey; and three great-grandchildren, Blake and Alekia Hawkins and Arianna Mason.

    Graveside services were scheduled for 10 a.m. on Thursday, July 23, in the Milford Cemetery, Dingman Township.
