Philip T. Moricone

    Philip T. Moricone, 85 of Milford, PA passed away Nov. 3, 2015 at Belle Reve Senior Living, Milford, PA. He was a retired elevator mechanic for Local Union 1, New York, N.Y., member of St. Patrick’s Church, Milford, and a U.S. Navy veteran.

    ​The son of the late Philip and Barbara (D’Orazio) Moricone he was born Nov. 25, 1929 in Bronx, N.Y. He was married to the late Patricia T. (O’Neill) Moricone.

    ​Survivors include three sons, Philip Moricone of Derry, N.H., Joseph Moricone of Milford, Thomas Moricone of Milford; sister, Marie Zackery of Daytona, Fla.; seven grandchildren, Philip, Leila, John, Kelly, Katie, Lizzie, Joseph, Allie, Edward; and two great-grandchildren, Makayla and Dylan. He was predeceased by two brothers.

    Visitation at Stroyan Funeral Home in Milford was held Nov. 5. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Patrick’s Church, Milford, on Nov. 6, with the Rev. Gregory Kelly officiating. Burial followed in Milford Cemetery, Dingman Township.
