Robert Krause Sr.

Robert Krause Sr. of Hoosick Falls, N.Y., formerly of Milford, Pa., died on Tuesday, Oct. 11, 2016, at the Center for Nursing and Rehab in Hoosick Falls, N.Y. He was 83.
Son of the late Louis and Ruth (Zindle) Krause, he was born on Sept. 24, 1933, in Port Jervis, N.Y.
He was a retired shipping clerk for Kolmar Labs Port Jervis, N.Y., a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War, and a member of the Marsch Kellogg American Legion Post #139, Milford.
He was predeceased by his wife, Julia V. Krause, on Oct. 14, 1977.
Survivors include his son, Robert Krause Jr., of Hoosick Falls, N.Y.; daughter, Nancy DePolito of Milford; six grandchildren, Daniel, Anthony, Christopher, Ryan, Alex and Lyndsay; three great-grandchild, Daniel, Dylan, and Francisco; and his sister-in-law, Doris Krause of Buffalo, N.Y. He was predeceased by his son Charles Melloh.
Visitation was held at Stroyan Funeral Home in Milford on Oct. 17. Funeral services were held at the funeral home with the Rev. Keith Raser officiating. Burial took place at Milford Cemetery, Dingman Township, Pa.
