Thomas George Volz

Thomas George Volz of Milford died on Sunday, April 5, 2015, at Milford Senior Care, Westfall Township. He was 78.

Son of the late Robert and Anna Volz, he was born Dec. 20, 1936, in New York, N.Y. He was married to the late Margaret Volz, who predeceased him in 1999.

He was a retired chief engineer for Bouchard Transportation Co., Mellville, N.Y., and Moran Towing, New York, N.Y.

He was a member of the Delaware Township Volunteer Ambulance Corp., Dingmans Ferry; an assistant scout master for Boy Scout Troop 5, Dingmans Ferry; Boy Scout Troop 173, Port Jervis; and a U.S. Army Vietnam veteran, serving from 1962 to 1964.

He is survived by his son, Thomas A. Volz, of Bushkill.

Services and cremation will private at the convenience of the family.
