Thomas Marks Jr.

Thomas Marks Jr. of Milford died Sunday, July 26, 2015, at his home, surrounded by his loving family. He was 70.

Son of Thomas and Mary Marks, he was born on March 17, 1945, in Brooklyn. He was a retired police officer for the New York City Police Department.

He attended the Hope Evangelical Free Church in Matamoras. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed spending time at his koi pond.

Survivors include his wife, Dianne Montemarano Marks, at home; son, Joseph Marks and his wife, Dina, of Staten Island; two daughters, Maryann Johnson and her husband, Robert, of Matamoras, Sharon Marks and Rob Marks of Milford; two sisters, Frances Daly of the State of Florida and Doris Paciello of Tennessee; 10 grandchildren, Danielle, Sarah, Matthew, Joseph, Taylor, Nicholas, Brandon, Michael, Robbie, and Kyle; three great-grandchildren, Austin, Aubrey, and Aiden; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held July 30 at the Knight-Auchmoody Funeral Home in Port Jervis. Funeral services were held July 31 at the Hope Evangelical Free Church in Matamoras. The Rev. Leonard Gilpin officiated. Interment followed at Pine Grove Cemetery, Matamoras.
