Tony Allan Turner Sr., 53, a resident of Huguenot, N.Y., passed away unexpectedly on Friday, Jan. 5, 2018. He was 53.
Son of the late Michael Gilbert Turner and the late Katherine E. Bartholomew Turner, he was born in Newburgh, N.Y., on May 27, 1964.
He enjoyed fishing, cookouts, bonfires, hunting and working around his home. His favorite thing most of all was working on cars for his family and friends. He always loved being with family and his friends.
He worked as a diesel mechanic for many years for many mechanical shops in the area.
He is survived by the love of his life of 34 years, Claudia Coons; son, Tony (Olga) Turner Jr.; daughters, Katherine (John) Kolstad, Autumn (Jesse) Turner, and Tiffani (Yensi) Turner; step-children, Alicia (Shawn) Russell, Roger (Amy) Kelly, and Annie Hoffman; 14 grandchildren; brothers, Eddie (Evelyn) Turner, Michael (Beverly) Turner, Steven (Christina) Turner, and Carl Turner; sisters, Regina (Bill) Mortensen, Cindy (Roger) Kelly, and Lisa Murray; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins; and his beloved dog, Junior.
He was predeceased by his Pop, Charles Dunn, and his loving dog, Grizzly.
A visitation will be held at Gray-Parker Funeral Home, 100 E. Main Street, Port Jervis, NY 12771 on Thursday, Jan. 11, from 1 to 3 p.m. Funeral services will follow at the funeral home at 3 p.m.
Cremation will follow at MacLennan Hall Crematorium, Milford, Pa.
Funeral arrangements are by the Gray-Parker Funeral Home, Port Jervis, N.Y.
