William A. Cherry

William A. Cherry of Port Jervis, N.Y., died on Sunday, May 21, 2017, in Port Jervis. He was 58.
He was born on Sept. 5, 1958, in Port Jervis, the son of the late Earl L. Cherry and Elsie Fox Cherry, who survives. He worked as machinist for Daniel Allen Mfg. Co. in Branchville, N.J.
Survivors include his mother, Elsie Cherry of Port Jervis; daughter, Christina Onyan and her husband, Zachary, of Jasper, N.Y.; brothers, Earl Cherry Jr. of Pennsylvania and Donald Cherry and his wife, Myra, of Dingmans Ferry, Pa.; sister, Vicki Sweeney of Port Jervis; grandchildren, Laurel Catherine, Isabel Lynn, Gabriel Christian, Kendal Leigh, and Abigail Grace,; and several aunts and uncles, including his uncle Leslie Fox of The Villages, Florida; and several nieces and nephews.
Services were private. Interment was at Pine Hill Cemetery, Sparrowbush, N.Y.
