William J. Daley, Jr., 81, of Milford, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, September 16, 2023. Mr. Daley was a retired New York City Transit police officer, volunteer fireman with Elmont Fire Department (NY), and a member and Past Exalted Ruler of B.P.O.E. Lodge # 645, Port Jervis, NY.
William was an avid golfer, traveler, and a loyal fan of the NY Giants and NY Mets. He was the life of every party, and a character like no other.
The son of the late William J. and Loretta (Tobin) Daley Sr., he was born December 17, 1941, in New York, NY. He married Kathryn (Conron) Daley on October 9, 1970, in the Bronx, NY.
William is survived by his wife Kathryn, and two sons: William J. Daley III and his wife Kyra, and their boys Ethan, Daniel and Luke, and Tim Daley and his wife Barbara; and granddaughter Sofia. He is also survived by his aunt Jean Weinert and sisters Carol and Kathryn.
Services and cremation will be private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are by Stroyan Funeral Home, 405 West Harford St., Milford, PA.
