Honesdale — For the first time in its history, the Wayne Memorial Hospital Auxiliary will be holding a one day sale of socks and sheets. The vendor, who donates a portion of all proceeds to the Auxiliary, is expected to offer “tremendous savings,” according to Auxiliary President Helen Beck, “on designer and better-brand socks for men and women—40% to 50% less than retail prices.” There will also be a sale on sheet sets. Twin, full, queen, and king will be available in 600 thread count or 1,000 thread count. The sale is open to all on Friday, July 17, from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the David Katz Conference Room on the second floor at Wayne Memorial Hospital. Credit cards will be accepted.
