Women help Habitat for Humanity
| 29 Sep 2011 | 12:12

Dingmans Ferry Women In Business, a committee of the Pike County Chamber of Commerce, recently raised $300 for Habitat for Humanity. Each year, the Women In Business committee picks a local charitable organization to sponsor. This year, the committee chose Habitat for Humanity to be their recipient. The funds were collected through door prize drawings at the committee’s meetings and workshops held throughout the year. Habitat for Humanity will use the $300 to go towards basic landscaping at its recently completed home in Pike County.
