Milford — Do you enjoy working with young children? Looking for something to do this summer? Volunteer to be an apprentice at Pike County Public Library! You must be a teen or ‘tween, ages 10 and up. Activities will include reading to young children, assisting with crafts, planning parties and programs for young children, decorating the children’s room, and much more. Come to the library to find out how you can become an Apprentice in Summer Kindergarten Story Time, a Children’s Room Volunteer helping out with School-Age Programs this summer, and/or a valued member of the Friends of the Children’s Room. Attend one of the following informational meetings (you need not attend at the branch where you wish to volunteer): Dingman Township Branch of PCPL: Tuesday, May 26 from 5:30-6:30 p.m. or at the Milford Branch, Thursday, May 28 from 6-7 p.m. Sign up at the branch where you will be attending the meeting.
