Bar association launches Web site
MILFORD The Pike County Bar Association announced the launch of its web site at www.pikebar.com . Bar Association President, Elizabeth Erickson Kameen stated that the Web site features vital information for the convenience of bar members and the general public. Information provided on the Web site includes the court schedule, along with various fee schedules including the Prothonotary’s Office and the Recorder of Deeds Office. Members, prospective members and the general public can use the Web site to look up contact information on the various county lawyers. The new Web site allows visitors to get information on Pike County’s Lawyer Referral Service, search member lawyers, county government information and more. Find association events, scholarship information and a comprehensive county directory all in one place. The Web site also contains information on the various public service programs performed by the association. Among its public service programs, the bar association holds an annual Christmas party for The Center for Developmental Disabilities. The association received statewide recognition for its work with the CDD from the Pennsylvania Bar Association. The county association also provides six (6) scholarships a year to students at the Delaware Valley School District and the Wallenpaupack School District including four scholarships to students interested in the law; the Arthur B. Siegel Humanitarian Scholarship to the student exemplifying the broadest range of interests while exhibiting humanitarian interests; and the Matthew D.
