Benefit 5K coming in October

MATAMORAS - On Monday, Oct. 9, a 5K Run - Walk will be held at 9 a.m. at Matamoras Airport Park. The Mitchell Miles 5K will begin and end at the park. Proceeds from the race will benefit the Olivia Mitchell Scholarship Fund. Olivia is the daughter of the late Tim Mitchell, who was a lifelong resident of Pike County and a well respected law enforcement officer in the community. Registrations and further information can be obtained at any elementary school in the Delaware Valley School District, or you may call 570-296-3602. A $20 donation should accompany each registration.
