Beverly Cleary characters come alive for students

WESTFALL - Delaware Valley Elementary School reading teachers recently helped to bring some of the characters in the popular Beverly Cleary stories to life by hosting a special “Drop Everything and Read Day,” complete with real-live characters. The characters, of course, were actual students from the school who came to school dressed like their favorite Beverly Cleary character. A day-long celebration was held at school in honor of the famous author’s ninetieth birthday.
