Beyond the basics of selling on eBay

WESTFALL —Learn how to sell on eBay the right way by attending a “Beyond the Basics of Selling on eBay” course on Tuesday, May 27, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Delaware Valley School District Administration Building in Westfall. Offered by the Pike County Chamber of Commerce and The University of Scranton Small Business Development Center (SBDC), the course offers county residents the tools and resources needed to develop successful eBay businesses. The course will be taught by Keith Yurgosky, an Education Specialist trained by eBay who also serves as Manager of Internet Business at the University of Scranton SBDC. Training delivered by Education Specialists uses the most up-to-date training and student materials - the same ones used by eBay University. Beyond the Basics attendees will learn how to start and/or grow an eBay-based business, choose the right listing format, create compelling listings and learn to manage them effectively, use eBay listing tools, market a business on eBay, use online payments from PayPal, and more. The cost is $30 per person for Pike County Chamber of Commerce members and $40 per person for non- members. The registration fee includes instruction, the comprehensive eBay guidebook “Beyond the Basics: Techniques for the Serious Seller,” and light refreshments.
