PORT JERVIS, N.Y. — Bon Secours Charity Health System’s (BSCHS) Bon Secours Community Hospital in Port Jervis, N.Y., announces the tenth annual Bon Secours Community Hospital and Provident Bank Golf Classic. This annual event is celebrating its first decade of raising funds for Bon Secours Community Hospital to help provide quality healthcare to its community. The event, held at Port Jervis Country Club on Friday, Oct. 2, promises something for everyone and includes all-day sports, food, awards, a chance to win $5,000, and socializing, all for the benefit of BSCHS. There are opportunities for everyone to make their own contribution. Whether attending the whole day or just the reception, ticket prices will also lend their part to advancing community care in the region. Other options include categories such as Tee Sponsorship for as little as $75 dollars all the way to Grand Reception Underwriter at $7,000. Businesses can take advantage of the opportunity to purchase an event Journal Ad, allowing donors the opportunity to promote their businesses at rates starting at $75. Rain or shine, the day starts promptly at 9:30 a.m. with registration and then a putting contest. Following is a barbecue lunch to energize the crowd for the day’s festivities, which follow at 12 noon with a shotgun start. The final part of the day begins with a cocktail reception at 5 p.m., followed by dinner and a raffle drawing. This year’s new, high-stakes drawing will be a “5K Giveaway,” providing the chance to win $5,000. To cap off the night, a special awards presentation is also included, this year marking the first time ever that the Jim Biondi Challenge Cup is awarded to a lucky recipient. Do not forget the special gift BCSHS will generously include for each guest! Contact the foundation office at 845-368-5151. The event is limited to just 144 guests so make sure to call and secure your spot today.
