Bon Secours employee receives service award

Port Jervis, N.Y. - Allen McFadden, LMSW, CASAC, has been awarded the Distinguished Service Award by the Orange County Joint Mental Health Community Services Agencies (JMHCA). He was recognized for his contributions to the treatment of chemically addicted persons. McFadden is a case manager in the New Directions Program at Bon Secours Community Hospital in Port Jervis. This program provides inpatient detoxification and rehabilitation treatment for adults with an addictive and psychiatric illness. “Allen is a conscientious and focused part of an interdisciplinary team and is well respected by peers in his field” stated Laura Brovich, clinical supervisor of Case Management at New Directions. “He is very deserving of this recognition,” she added.
