Bon Secours honors its volunteers

Port Jervis, N.Y. — Bon Secours Community Hospital recently held a themed luncheon at the Port Jervis Country Club in honor of their volunteer department. The luncheon themed, “Volunteers are Good Fortune” featured Asian cuisine and entertainment was provided by the Delaware Valley Chamber Chorus and Mickey McFarland, hospital volunteer. During opening remarks, Gaynor Rosenstein, vice-president of Operations at Bon Secours Community, commented, “Time is the most precious gift that anyone can give of themselves, and Bon Secours sincerely appreciates the amount of time that the volunteer staff donates to the hospital.” According to Marie Stieh, Volunteer Services Director, the hospital benefits from the contributions of 250 volunteers from the community that contributed 31,000 hours in the past year.
